In the past few months, many fans have been wondering whether or not "Spiderman" would be part of the "Avengers: Infinity War" heroes There are quite a lot of characters who will be showing up in the upcoming mega team-up film and web-slinger has been confirmed that it will be joining as well.

Robert Downey Jr. had a discussion with directors Joe and Anthony Russo via Facebook Live stream from the "Avengers: Infinity War" set where it was purely fun from Downey's end. The possible involvement of "Spiderman" in the upcoming movie has actually started in October when Tom Holland said that it is still ‘up in the air' and then in January, Holland verified with Italian Vogue that the web-slinger hero will appear in the film.

Sure it was great to know and at least the official confirmation straight from the "Avengers: Infinity War" set certainly makes a difference. "Spiderman" fans are apparently looking forward to see the wall-crawler do his thing and his combat against the antagonist Thanos.

Holland's "Spiderman" premiered in 2016 in "Captain America: Civil War" as a superhero with short experience with his odd abilities and homemade web-shooters. He's been hunted down by Tony Stark where he received a high-tech attire and drafted into the pro-Sokovia Accords team of "Iron Man" in an attempt to capture "Captain America" and his anti-registration group.

Following Downey's Facebook Live appearance answering questions from the "Avengers: Infinity War" set in Atlanta, Marvel Studios then dropped a behind-the-scenes featurette footage flaunting its upcoming film, reports the Hollywood Reporter. Holland, Chris Pratt and Downey lead the footage, which starts from the first day of shooting in January, where Downey calls it the beginning of ‘a year if fun-filled lensing'.

Until then, everyone should have more patience of seeing the web-slinging hero next year. "Avengers: Infinity War" hits cinemas on May 4, 2018. Stay tuned.
