Samsung's Galaxy C7 Pro may hit the store shelves in the United States sooner rather than later. Bearing a model number of SM-C701F/DS, the smartphone has just cleared the certification at FCC (Federal Communications Commission), the US-based certification agency.

Samsung has been on a roll this year. The South Korean handset maker launched the Galaxy C7 Pro in China, kickstarting the year 2017. The device was then launched in the US bearing the C7 Pro moniker. On March 19, the smartphone carrying the same model number was granted WiFi certification by the WFA (WiFi Alliance), TheAndroidSoul reported.

It looks like Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy C7 Pro in India in near future. This shred of information arrives shortly after a handset bearing the same model number i.e. SM-C701F was spotted on Samsung's India website, hinting at the device's impending arrival in the Asian market. The page has since been taken down.

The C7 Pro is currently up for grabs in China and Hong Kong. The device boasts an array of awe-inspiring specs and features.

The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro features an all-metal unibody design with the company's logo placed below the camera lens at the back. With the C7 Pro, Samsung decided to go in for a set of three line antenna design that runs side by side with the top and bottom of the device. The home button of the Galaxy C7 Pro doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.

Aside from the Galaxy C7 Pro, under the C-series, only the C9 Pro smartphone has been launched in India until now. The C9 Pro packed 6GB of RAM and sold for INR 36,900, which converts to about $563, BGR reported.

The Galaxy C7 Pro sports a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Under the hood, the device packs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 626 processor with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. In terms of internal storage, the C7 Pro offers 32/64GB of expandable (up to 256GB via microSD card) storage.

On the photography front, the C7 Pro has a 16MP camera equipped with f/1.9 on the rear. It sports a mammoth 16MP front shooter for the selfie addicts. The smartphone packs a robust 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
