A new Pokemon Plus device will soon roll out for "Pokemon Go." In addition, Niantic confirmed plans on releasing Legendary Pokemon for the game soon.

A series of updates and a barrage of upcoming releases is the headlines for "Pokemon Go" nowadays. Niantic this 2017 is unstoppable as plans that are more definite are slowly revealed and major updates are inbound within the year.

Niantic CEO John Hanke recently confirmed that Legendary Pokemon are set to roll out in 2017. Previously, the CEO announced three major updates would be released for "Pokemon Go" this year. Legendary Pokemon would most likely be one of the three updates given the massive demand from players. Express predicts that with the game's first anniversary, the company might launch something big, and Legendary Pokemon would not be far from it given the warmer weather on summer apt for hunting Pokemon.

Interestingly, Express added that a possible major update could land in September and the seasonal and holiday-themed event would be littered all throughout the year. In addition, possible activities for Easter, Halloween, and Christmas were also noted.

Aside from the highly anticipated Legendary Pokemon, Niantic is also working on a follow-up to the "Pokemon Go" Pokemon Plus wearable, which is a wearable that is as elusive as the Legendary Pokemon. Reportedly, the company is looking for a team to create dedicated wearables for players to enjoy the games more.

At the World Mobile Conference in Barcelona, Niantic CEO was quoted saying that 'Pokemon Go" is an augmented reality game and they are taking advantage of the available and existing wearables for the game at present. He further said that they are waiting for their partners to introduce A.R glasses and other types of advanced technology for the game.

Fans are hoping that the upcoming "Pokemon Go" Pokemon Plus wearable is easier to buy than the recent one which ran out of stock starting Christmas season last year. At present, the device is now available at Nintendo Online Store.
