The Chinese handset manufacturer, OnePlus, had managed to break into the competitive smartphone arena with their affordable, yet powerful, flagship smartphone offerings a few years ago. The company continued with their "flagship killer" line-up, the latest one being the highly praised OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T. However, all of the attention is now on the company's upcoming new follow-up, the OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5.

Given that release window for the next-generation OnePlus flagship is looming near, more leaks and teases are now making their way online. The latest one comes from the infamous leakster, Evan Blass, in the form of a poster allegedly from OnePlus themselves. The rather ambiguous poster doesn't really reveal much about the upcoming flagship, but it does succeed in piquing the interest of tech fans across the world.

The poster itself, which looks like a wallpaper, features a photo of lava flowing along with OnePlus' signature slogan, "Never Settle." The image could mean a multitude of things, and several publications have expressed their different theories.

According to Phone Arena, the image of the alleged OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5 could be teasing of a new Jet Black-colored OnePlus 3T or it could be an entirely new device. Other reports speculate that it could be a new midnight black casing, or perhaps something entirely different. As it stands, the meaning of the latest teaser is really anyone's guess at this point.

Meanwhile, the next generation OnePlus flagship is expected to be coming with some over-the-top specs. The OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5 is rumored to be coming with a large 4,000 mAh battery and perhaps a staggering 8GB of RAM. However, it has to be noted that it may be too early to speculate and fans would most likely have to wait until OnePlus officially makes an announcement regarding their next "flagship killer." Given that teasers are now starting to roll out, that announcement may be coming sooner than expected.
