Nintendo Switch is Nintendo's newest console that is set to be released on March 3. Previously, Hajime Tabata, the director of Square Enix's "Final Fantasy XV" has expressed his interest on the new console. Very recently, he once again talks about the future of "FFXV" on Switch.

Apparently, Hajime Tabata believes that Nintendo Switch is a "dream machine" according to Siliconera. This is particularly about the console's hybrid element, where it can be a home entertainment console to a portable one.

Apart from that, he also expressed how he wants to take Switch a notch further. "Final Fantasy XV's" Tabata said he would like the portable screen function like that of a tablet. This helps players play various apps.

"Given my track record... I've worked on handheld titles, but I've also worked on console games. So the fact that Switch is both at the same time is really fascinating to me," "Final Fantasy XV" director Tabata said. "I'm really interested in coming up with ideas and how to capitalize on that technology and how to create the best experience possible on the technology. But I'm not quite sure that I have it yet."

The director also claimed that he was not the only one interested in Switch. Apparently, more people behind "Final Fantasy XV" has shown fascination on the console.

Apart from talking about Nintendo Switch, the director also talked about the future of "Final Fantasy XV," specifically about the multiplayer feature of the game. During an interview with Polygon, the director mentioned a few things about it.

Although Tabata did not give an in-depth explanation on what the feature is about, he did say it will tie into the main story of "Final Fantasy XV" at some point. Also, he emphasized that players won't control any of the main characters. Instead, they will be creating their own avatar and will enjoy the journeys of the open world of "FFXV."
