"Attack on Titan" Season 2 episodes will reportedly highlight more Survey Corps members as teased by series Director Koizuka Masashi and Chief Director Araki Tetsuro. The news came following the release of a new issue of Japanese Newtype Magazines where the directors spoke about the highly anticipated installment of "Attack on Titan" anime. They didn't, however, revealed who among the Survey Corps members will be featured but if it's manga counterpart is to be considered, they must be referring to Renier Braun and Bertolt Hoover.

In a report by Comicbook, Masashi confirmed that the new season will be exploring "Attack On Titan" characters who didn't play integral roles in the past. Manga readers may have several guesses but an obvious guess will be Renier and Bertolt. Renier, also known as the Armored Titan, had an encounter with his co-Survey Corps member Eren Yeager in the 43rd Chapter of "Attack on Titan" manga.

He turned out to be a traitor along with another teammate Bertolt, who's also a titan shifter named Colossal Titan. Both these titan shifters are highlighted in the "Clash of the Titans" arc of the manga, which is believed to be featured on "Attack on Titan" Season 2 anime. Though this is yet to be confirmed, it is highly likely for "Attack on Titan" Season 2 anime to take on the "Clash of Titans" arc as it reportedly promises not to veer away from the original plot of the series.

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 is expected to pack more action and deeper storyline too. As pointed out by Geek, the promotional poster showed Eren in his titan form with Captain Levi and Mikasa Ackerman. These main characters will have to deal with several new challenges in the upcoming "Attack on Titan" Season 2 episodes that include a fight with the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan, apparently.

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 anime release date is set on April 1, 2017. For more updates and news about your favorite manga and anime series, keep checking here at MobilenApps.
