The next chapter of Hajime Isayama's "Attack on Titan" will focus on Dr. Grisha Yeager's past, particularly on how he acquired his Titan power.

'Attack On Titan' Chapter 86 Recap

The 86th chapter, dubbed "That Day," was a flashback of Dr. Grisha Yeager's childhood and young adulthood's life beyond the walls. It was revealed that his younger sister, Fay Yeager, was fed to dogs by the Marley officer who escorted her away from him.

After knowing the tragic death of his sister, Grisha dedicated himself to the Eldia Restorationists, a rebellious group who aims to get the power of the Progenitor Titan. At the time, he met his wife, Dina Fritz and had a son named Zeke.

Several years later, the Marleyan government announced a program to train Titan warriors. Seeing the chance to recover the Progenitor Titan, Grisha sent Zeke into the said cause hoping to make him into a double agent.

However, when Zeke turned seven years old, he handed his parents and the Eldia Restorationists over to the Marleyans. As a punishment, the rebellious group was sent to the island of Paradis to wander outside the walls as mindless Titans.

'Attack On Titan' Chapter 87 Spoilers

Early "Attack on Titan" chapter 87 spoilers and predictions are already here. Dr. Yeager's journal will further be explored in the next chapter, recounting the events that happened after Zeke uncovered the Eldia Restorationists.

In one of the books, it is expected that Dr. Yeager will reveal how he turned into a Titan Shifter. Not much is known about how Grisha got his own titan power, as he was only discovered meandering outside the Shingangshina walls in year 830 in a state of amnesia.

As the real connection between Reiss and Fritz family will be further explored in the upcoming chapter 87, it is believed that Eren Yeager was really destined to be the vessel of the Progenitor Titan.

While nothing is impossible, early "Attack on Titan" chapter 87 spoilers and predictions should be taken with a pinch of salt.
