Game Freak's "Pokemon Sun And Moon" didn't take too long to garner success that is second to none. Now, the game developers are leaving no stone unturned in order to keep the hype surrounding the role-playing video games alive.

Apparently, the team behind "Pokemon Sun And Moon" is bent on jazzing things up for the games' huge fanbase via a new event, which the studio is already planning. If this comes to fruition, fans of "Pokemon Sun And Moon" will be in for a colossal treat, according to International Business Times.

'Pokemon Sun And Moon' Easter Egg Event

A never-before-seen Easter Egg event is just around the corner -- in fact, it is slated to kick off in March this year, Nintendo made the big announcement not too long ago. Considering the event is only for Japan-based players, it remains to be seen whether or not the developer opts to branch the event out to other countries as well. This largely depends on the kind of response the event gets from the Japanese fans.

The looming "Pokemon Sun And Moon" event is slated to kick off on March 18. It's worth noting that the celebration will continue for a month, meaning, the event will wrap up on April 19. Moreover, those participating in the event will be eligible to get eggs that comprise delightful creatures, according to iTechPost.

The confirmed Pokemon for the upcoming Easter Egg event includes Drampa, Gloomy, and Mareani to name a few. The eggs are also said to feature a slew of other coveted creatures such as Oranguru and Turtonator Passimian.

There is a total of six Pokemon confirmed at the moment, but in the case that the "Pokemon Sun And Moon" Easter Egg event becomes international, the number of creatures in the offing are also likely to increase. There's hearsay that Nintendo will consider making the event global provided the upcoming event turn out to be a huge success.
