With BioWare announcing "Mass Effect: Andromeda" as not an open-world game, there are many who believe that the game will be scaled down a bit. Moreover, keeping in mind the demands of current generation systems, fans have all the more reason to believe so. However, recent reports have stated that this is not true as lead designer Ian S. Frazier spoke on the game's length. Frazier tweeted a reply saying, "Players are going to ... need more days for this one." Generally "Mass Effect" games generally take a couple dozen hours to complete.
According to WWG, if "Mass Effect" players want to play all the side quests, they may have to play for weeks. "Mass Effect 3" was probably the longest game in the series, though some believe "Mass Effect 2" was equally long. However, after seeing Frazier's tweet, it seems that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be a lengthier experience than the other two, resulting in the longest intergalactic experience in the history of the "Mass Effect" franchise. Frazier has also mentioned that the game will be the most-approachable "Mass Effect" until now.
"Very beginner friendly. We want new players to be able to hop in to MEA easily without playing the trilogy first," he explained in another tweet.
BioWare's "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be released on March 21 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. The latest trailer offer loads of important information on subjects such as combat techniques, weaponry, loadouts and character classes. Most of the original gameplay carries over from the first three games and this is most-true for the weaponry. The characters can specialise in sniper rifles, assault rifles, shotguns and pistols and can also pour skill points into whatever they prefer.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" characters don't have to commit to any single one and can change loadouts in between missions. Stay tuned on Mobile & Apps for more updates on the game.
