NetherRealm Studios' "Injustice 2" is set to hit gaming consoles and mobiles on May 16 for PS4, Xbox One, Android and iOS. The studio is teasing fans every now and then with fresh bits of information, giving fans the opportunity to dissect the game for more info and to keep their interest high. The mobile version of the game has soft-launched the Philippines and characters, who are yet to be announced for the console version, have been unearthed in the mobile version. Alternate costumes have been tipped and fans are pretty excited about it.
According to WWG, Cyborg and Scarecrow have been found in the mobile version of "Injustice 2." This version will give out new characters collectible cards, and some of these characters have revealed the fighters sporting some pretty interesting looks. This, in turn, could be a hint about the costume plans of NetherRealm Studios. However, there is no confirmation whether the new looks will at all come to the console version of "Injustice 2." The art on the cards is worth a look even if they do not make it to the console version.
Scarecrow is seen wearing a gas mask, Wonder Woman is more heavily armed, there's a red and black Batman such as in "Beyond" universe, Flash wearing a helmet and classic versions of Harley Quinn. Meanwhile, in yet another WWG report, it has been revealed that a Reddit post indicates the return of Black Adam. The next official character reveal for "Injustice 2" is anticipated to be on Feb 23. Even though the studio hasn't confirmed Black Adam's return, a screenshot, showing an operation that featured in the beta, hinted at something interesting.
The screenshot showed a search and rescue in the land of Kahndaq, which is an Arab country, ruled by the anti-hero Black Adam. Stay tuned for more details on "Injustice 2."
