Square Enix and Yoko Taro are teaming up again as they create a new mobile game together, titled "SINoALICE." The game's trailer was released by Square Enix in February 15 and it appears that the duo's creation is definitely promising.
The story of "SINoALICE" circles on a group of girls looking to revive their so called "Author." The speaker in the Japanese trailer is attempting to communicate with the audience, asking if they still recall a story that was read to them when they were a child. The said story was about a beautiful princess and a strong hero.
After which, the speaker said that the "girls" are still wandering and that the world that the "girls" are in was an "imprisoned world" called "Library." The world was described as a place that is stuck in an endless loop in the story, Gematsu writes.
There was no detailed information shared about the game yet, especially the gameplay. Despite that, pre-registration is up on the official website. The number of people who pre-registered will determine the bonus that players can have when starting out "SINoALICE." The values are said to be 10,000 for 20 magic crystals, 30,000 for 40 magic crystals, 50,000 for 50 magic crystals, 70,000 for a Puppet Flying Dragon magic tool and 100,000 for a special item.
Pocket Laboratory is responsible for developing the game "SINoALICE." It is co-developed by Yoko Taro, the same writer and creative director who is behind Square Enix's "NieR" and "Drakengard." He is famous for being mysterious as He often goes around with the moon covering his head and speaks most of the time. The game will be available this Spring in Japan on all Android and iOS devices.
