It doesn't look like things will be settling down anytime soon for Carrie Mathison (played by Claire Danes). In episode 5 of "Homeland" Season 6, Carrie once again has trouble with keeping her work and personal life separate.
The short synopsis for the upcoming episode, titled "Casus Belli," reads "Keane gets sidelined; Carrie's work follows her home," per TV Guide. According to Wikipedia, the title for episode 5 of "Homeland's" sixth season is a Latin expression that means "an act or event that provokes or is used to justify war."
Blasting News has revealed that in the upcoming tension-filled episode, Elizabeth Keane (portrayed by Elizabeth Marvel), will be featured in several scenes that could dangerous for the newly elected president. Keane will allegedly be "in a position where she can't really do anything, or is just out of commission all together."
However, since the official synopsis for the upcoming episode of "Homeland" was very vague, viewers can only wonder what actually sidelines President Keane. Was it caused by something that she herself has done? Will she be able to resume her duties soon?
Meanwhile, viewers are left to worry about Carrie, who has to worry about her work following her home. Is this a literal or metaphorical work/life issue, or has someone from work literally follow "Homeland's" heroine? Hopefully, Carrie manages to straighten out her work problems?
The promotional video for the upcoming episode shows Carrie and her daughter in danger as the whole city holds her responsible for her actions. The video also showed Peter Quinn (portrayed by Rupert Friend) in what seems to be a hostage-taking situation. Peter is capable of protecting himself, but will he endanger Carrie's daughter? "Casus Belli," episode 5 of "Homeland" Season 6 will air on Sunday, Feb. 19, at 9 p.m. EST on Showtime.
