Gamers heading to PAX Prime this weekend will be able to play Wii U, Nintendo's next-generation console, and the full roster of games available to play at the event for the console is now known. For users heading to the Wii U Experience events, the lineup is probably familiar.
Ubisoft's ZombieU, Nintendo's Pikmin 3, Nintendo Land, New Super Mario Bros. U, Project P-100, Team Ninja's Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, Warner Bros.'s Scribblenauts Unlimited, and Trine 2: Director's Cut are the available games. Trine 2 seems to be a new addition.
3DS owners will also get to preview what is coming later in 2012. Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, and Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?! are the new titles available to play. Existing titles New Super Mario Bros. 2, Mario Kart 7, and Kid Icarus: Uprising are also playable.
A Kid Icarus: Uprising multiplayer tournament is happening at PAX on Aug. 31 at 6:30PM in the Nintendo Gaming Lounge on the third floor of the Washington State Convention Center. No details are available on what the winner takes home.
A sticker-collecting event based around Paper Mario: Sticker Star is also taking place. Stickers are scattered around the center for users to collect; three game stickers, when collected, can be handed in by posting them via Twitter to the @NintendoAmerica Twitter account so plalyers can be awarded a bonus sticker after bringing them to the Nintendo Lounge. It is on level two and three of the center.
Four Nintendo 3DS eShop titles are playable: Fluidity: Spin Cycle, Pokedex 3D Pro, Pushmo, and 3D Classics: Kirby's Adventure. Nintendo DS and Wii titles Pokemon Conquest and Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition are also playable during the trade show.
As the final trade show before Nintendo's Sept.13 event, it could be an indicator of what Nintendo plans to release during launch of the console.
