"Timeless" Season 2 renewal updates reveal that the cast remain optimistic about the show's future on NBC. In an interview with Carter Matt, actress Sakina Jaffrey, who plays Denise Christopher, admitted that there has been no word on the show's renewal yet from the network.
The actress explained that it might be hard to weigh in on the future of "Timeless" after Season 1 because of the complications involved in shooting the series. She said that it was a surprise for her that they managed to complete 16 episodes for this season.
Jaffrey also expressed her idea that should "Timeless" Season 2 happen, she hopes to see it moved to a different timeslot that would be more convenient for more people. She also shared that viewers should look forward to the "Timeless" Season 1 finale, which she teases will have some "startling" revelations.
Meanwhile, "Timeless" Season 1 will be introducing Misha Collins as a guest star for the role of Eliot Ness. Collins told TVLine that his role will have a "very stark departure from history."
