Niantic’s most recent update to “Pokemon GO” has greatly affected the usual spawn points for the creatures’ nests. There was no announcement regarding an exact date and time for when the changes will take place, but fans are expecting “Pokemon GO” Nest Migration 13 to arrive in the next 24 hours.
However, a number of “Pokemon GO” gamers have taken to the Internet to report some strange nest behavior of late. According to one “Pokemon GO” fan, his “local spawns have reverted to normal.” “They have not reduced quite to normal, but have massively reduced,” he wrote.
This has fuelled speculations that the “Pokemon GO” Nest Migration 13 update will be rolled out sooner than expected. As reported by Express, Migrationary Pokemon have now been noticeably shuffled. It should be noted, however, that such changes are normal ahead of a mass Pokemon migration.
A nest is a real-world area where a certain breed of Pokemon can be found. These nests are shuffled every couple of weeks, which means that a Squirtle nest could later become a nest for Pikachu. In other areas, spawns will just no longer appear. Moreover, new ones could suddenly show up in areas where Pokemons have never nested before.
Named “Pokemon GO” Nest Migration 13, this update marks the 13th time that nests were shuffled. According to Tech.Mic, finding and verifying newly formed nests is treated as a treasure hunt - one that “Pokemon GO” players can be a part with every two weeks. Their goal is to report nest migration logs to the Global Nest Atlas, with no actual prize to be claimed - except for bragging rights.
Being the first to find and report these nests is not as easy as it sounds. Nest migrations cannot be confirmed by merely driving by the area once - unless the “Pokemon GO” gamer is completely familiar with spawn patterns. To verify a new nest, there has to be continuous observation and confirmed reports from multiple users.
