"Exile Election" is coming on April 27 in Japan. Since it was first announced for the PS4 and PS Vita, developershave released several teasers. Nippon Ichi has been releasing character trailers for the upcoming game.
The Japanese company's YouTube channel has recently released a teaser for Miori Himeno. The character is Yuuri Himeno's older sister. Including Yuuri, Nippon Ichi has already shown bits of Alice and Hakushu Isumi. Arysya Tadenomiya and Karsya Tadenomiya has also been revealed in previous game trailers.
"Exile Election," or "Tsuiho Senkyo" in Japanese, is an adventure game within a closed theme park. Although details are scant, the gameplay will center on characters that have to vote on who gets to die.
According to Siliconera, the story begins when a mysterious doll presents the "Discussion." The mentioned word is a game where characters are presented to kill each other. Alice (the doll) presents herself as the administrator of the theme park.
After the "Discussion," players are lead to enter the game filled with intrigue and rumors. So far, Nippon Ichi has not revealed anything aside from YouTube character teasers.
The game has 13 characters and so far six video character teasers have been revealed. Nippon Ichi is regarded for developing games that include "Disgaea: Hour of Darkness."
Among other titles that the Japanese game developer has released are "Phantom Brave." The company's North American branch has also released several titles. "La Pucelle: Tactics," and "Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure" is the brainchild of Nippon Ichi North America.
There has been no announcement regarding an English version for the game. Gamers outside of Japan are eager to have a copy of "Exile Election." Judging from previous titles that got an English version, it's likely that the company will release in the future. Stay tuned for updates.
