"Pokemon Go" may be drawing close to having more features in the coming days to weeks, but the augmented reality game might not run as smoothly. New bugs, location restrictions and platform issues are plaguing the Niantic Labs title recently, keeping it from seamless success.
According to the Milwaukee Record, one of the biggest concerns right now in "Pokemon Go" is how the game will not be tolerated freely within the parks of the county. After what occurred last year, wherein thousands of players visited the Lake Park and caused severe damage, Milwaukee authorities will no longer take another mass disaster of the same gravity.
The ordinance declared that virtual and location-based augmented reality games are prohibited within the Milwaukee County Parks, excluding designated areas with permits from the Director of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture. "Pokemon Go" and games like it are required to have a permit before introducing it to the said location, which took effect January 1, 2017.
This further heightens the negativity surrounding "Pokemon Go," which is still yet to live up to its promise of releasing the Gen 2 Pokemon. A report from Slash Gear suggests that the coming Valentine's Day will spawn new updates and content from the app, most presumably the creatures of the awaited generation. One speculation is that Umbreon and Espeon, two of Eevee's evolutions, will be introduced in the update, if not all of the Gen 2 creatures.
Meanwhile, "Pokemon Go" has received reports of many devices that possessed bugs that make the game crash under certain conditions. Pokemon Go Hub reported that devices such as the Galaxy S3 Neo, Galaxy C7, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy J5 2016, HTC 10, Huawei Nova, LG Nexus 4, Moto G4+ and more are affected. The site suggested that clearing the app cache does the trick, but there are still opposite instances for the problem.
