Every year, the beautiful islands of Hawaii are visited by millions of visitors for its rich cultural traditions, beaches and native cuisines. So it's no surprise that the best in the tech industry also come to this paradise with their multi-million dollar estates to take their vacations according to Business Insider.

Mark Zuckerberg - Founder of Facebook

In 2014, he reportedly spent over $100 million for a 700-acre estate on the North Shore of Kauai which includes a pristine white beach. It is the fourth largest island in Hawaii. The property used to be a sugarcane plantation and is now used to produce turmeric and other spices and fruits by local farmers.

Paul Allen - Co-founder of Microsoft

According to Variety, Allen shelled out $7.5 million on a 10-acre farm in Kailua-Kona called the Thurston Estate. The property used to be owned by Lorrin P Thurston, former owner and publisher of the Honolulu Advertiser. He was also a one-time Chairman of the Hawaii Statehood Commission. The property is complete with a 12,000-square-foot main house, living quarters for employees and a bridge that connects to a small island.

Marc Benioff - CEO of Salesforce.com

Forbes has shared that Benioff dropped $12.5 million on a Big Island compound in 2000. It has a dozen structures that overlook piles of black lava rock and the Pacific Ocean.

Peter Thiel - Co-founder of PayPal

The Wall Street Journal reported Thiel bought a 1.7-acre property in Maui for $27 million back in 2011. It's made up of four interconnected pavilions curled around a courtyard and said to be the biggest deal for a single-family home in Hawaii's Maui County.

Michael Dell - CEO of Dell Technologies

Forbes revealed that Dell spent around $64 million property dubbed as the "crown jewel" of the Kukio development known as Raptor Residence. The property comprises of three lots atop the longest stretch of waterfront in Kukio.
