Over 1,000 musicians called Rockin' 1000, gathered together to perform Nirvana's most iconic song, "Smells Like Teen Spirit," all at once inside an Italian stadium during the "That's Live" concert, according to Metro.

The members of Rockin' 1000 basically include men and women of all ages, mostly from Italy, but also include musicians from Canada, England, Mexico, Germany and Bosnia. The live performance in the video will definitely make people watch in awe as the band members, despite their huge number, managed to remain synchronized all throughout the song.

According to A Journal of Musical Things, the video is just part of a bigger performance that also included more songs by other iconic artists such as "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve, "Jumpin' Jack Flash" by Rolling Stones, "Rebel Rebel" by David Bowie, "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes, "Rockin' in the Free World" by Neil Young and "Come Together" by The Beatles just to name a few.

The group Rockin' 1000 was originally assembled back in July 2015 as a publicity stunt to get the band Foo Fighters to visit their hometown and perform live, which eventually happened on October 2015. Nirvana was an American rock band that was formed by guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in 1987. David Grohl of Foo Fighters was the band's drummer at the time. Nirvana is considered to be one of the most influential alternative bands in music history. The band's career ended following the death of its front man, Cobain, in 1994.

"Smells Like Teens Spirit" is the song by the band that propelled their "Nevermind" album to the top of the charts. It reached number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and placed high on the music industry around the world between 1991 and 1992.
