"Diablo 3" will be getting a new class in the form of a reimagined version of the Necromancer from "Diablo 2." This new class will be released three years after the Witch Doctor was introduced in the game.
"Diablo 3" Necromancer updates reveal that Blizzard will be releasing the new class in 2017. According to Mic, Blizzard recently held a live stream and conducted a Q&A portion with the players of the game who wanted to know more about the new class.
While many were excited to learn when will the new "Diablo 3" class be released, the publication notes that Blizzard did not share any information on its release date or price yet. Once Blizzard unveils the Necromancer for D3, players will be able to get the character along with an in-game pet, portrait frame, banner, banner sigil, pennant, two character slots, and two stash tabs for PC users.
Blizzard also confirmed that the Necromancer class for "Diablo 3" was inspired by the one from "Diablo 2" with a few tweaks. For instance, the Necromancer in D3 will have new abilities such as Blood Rush, Bone Spear and Siphon Blood.
The "Revive" ability will also be introduced in the "Diablo 3" Necromancer and players who purchase the character will receive some items. This may be Blizzard's attempt to keep players engaged since some expressed their discontent with the gameplay in D3 through the game's online forum.
A user named clueso expressed discontent with the way the developers seemingly impose "specific endgame builds" and other issues with the endgame. Others also shared their problems with the game's RNG, weapon-based DPS, while others said that "Diablo 3" was not a continuation of the story of "Diablo 2."
