Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) is one of the most hotly anticipated video games of this generation. Yesterday, amid an Internet fanfare, Rockstar Games brought released three new screenshots of Grand Theft Auto V.

The image above is the Cheeta, one of many cars appearing in Grand Theft Auto V. This is a classic car that has been in many Grand Theft Auto games, but has not appeared in previews of Grand Theft Auto V until now.

Next up is a Fighter Jet; It has been long rumored that this game will include some jet action, and this image validated those rumors. Zooming into the cockpit reveals a fellow in a suit, presumably the game's main character.

The last image depicts a person on a Bicycle in what appears to be spandex. Rockstar may allow gamers to take this Bike for a spin, spandex and all.

Could October be the month when gamers finally get to see some real gameplay from Grand Theft Auto V? If you take a good look at vehicles in the trailer, you will see "OCT" as the registration date on every license plate. Is Rockstar sending a subliminal message?

A Rockstar employee noted that fans should look out for more screenshots in the coming weeks.
