NetherRealm is relentless in its promotional effort for the upcoming "Injustice 2," making the game visible in every gaming event available. Series director Ed Boon disclosed that they intend to make the game capture the CEO 2017 event in Orlando and even smaller circuits.
It appears that "Injustice 2" is also riding the fanfare that other titles like "Street Fighter V," "Tekken 7," "The King of Fighters XIV" and others are making. Fans of fighting games will never run short of options with this impressive lineup.
CEO 2017 is going to take place in Wyndham Orlando Resort on June 16-18 and it invites both competitive gamers and spectators. Those who want to test their skill against world-class players have to choose among the games aforementioned. They will then have to check CEOgaming when the site goes live and registration forms are available. For plain spectators, they can either witness the event live or go to Twitch for live streaming.
For players whose only interest is "Injustice 2," NetherRealm has sent the second set of invitations for beta. Boon himself teased that he is in possession of several PlayStation 4 and Xbox One codes for the beta. It is safe to follow Boon on Twitter for this reason since the boss admits that he can't decide yet how to distribute the codes, NeoWin noted.
Those who will play in the beta can expect a vast array of characters. Apart from the classic Superman-Batman match up and their respective supporters, lesser characters are also flooding in. NetherRealm cleverly pitted "weaker" heroes against strong opponents by making them upgradable through various gears and armors. This combat system is unprecedented in the whole franchise.
While characters are being revealed from time to time, "Injustice 2" is already available for pre-orders through favorite retailers. NetherRealm has already confirmed the game's release on May 16.
