Gamescom 2012 has kicked off successfully with a lot of new trailers and gameplay videos of your favorite games. One game in particular that is getting some serious spotlight, is Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, a game that is aiming to break records this holiday season. Treyarch and GameSpot have both teamed up to bring exclusive live and recorded multiplayer videos from Gamescom 2012. We bet this is going to excite gamers all over the world.

The show, which is hosted by Xbox Live's Major Nelson, will take place from August 15, right through to August 18. Look out for exclusive interviews with the developers working on the game, along with a PC gaming Black Ops 2 tournament. All these videos and interviews should shed more light on a game that is slowly making its way on every gamer's holiday wishlist.

Call of Duty games are not know for major changes in gameplay. However, it would seem Black Ops 2 is about to change that perception and make Call of Duty exciting to play again. The changes we see in multiplayer makes Modern Warfare 3 looks watered down and lacking luster. The way things are going, we wouldn't be surprised if Treyarch becomes the premiere Call of Duty developer over Infinity Ward, because those guys are well strapped with neat ideas from head to toe.
