Team17 and Playtonic Games' "Yooka-Laylee" is in gold status. The game's development is finally complete and it will be released on April 11. The latest announcement was featured in Playtonic Games' official website. The game will feature multiplayer games at fun and exciting levels. The game has been completed after 21 months of development. The PlayTonic Games team has another member named Justin Cook, who recently joined the team. What the game is all about
As reported by Gematsu, "Yooka-Laylee" features Rextro's Arcade (local co-op game) and the main story. Notably, Rextro's arcade can also be played with single player mode as well. Players can choose from the 8 multiplayer games from Rextro's arcade. These are Glaciators Brawler arena, Kartos Karting, Blag the Flag, Gun-let Run, Jobstacle Course, Hurdle Hijinx, and more. Furthermore, the main story local multiplayer mode allows other players to join co-op games with the main player. This will surely make the game exciting and fun for everyone. As far as Nintendo Switch version of "Yooka-Laylee" is concerned, Playtonic Games are still planning and having talks with Nintendo on the issue. However, it is recently updated that the Nintendo Switch version is available but only through the download option. Nevertheless, the game is available on four platforms all in all, reported Gematsu. Hopefully, Playtonic Games will release a demo of "Yooka-Laylee" for a sneak peek intoe game.
