In "Final Fantasy XV," Noctis' friend Ignis cooks elaborate meals for the group whenever they camp at various havens scattered throughout Eos. His mouth-watering creations also give them different buffs, but in "The Perfect Cup," Gladio lets everyone know that his love for Nissin cup noodles is unrivaled.

Players must take note that this side quest will only be available in "Final Fantasy XV" Chapter 8, per Samurai Gamers. The main quest "A Brave New World," where Noctis and his friends must decide if they will finally head to Altissia, must also be triggered before "The Perfect Cup" becomes available in Lestallum.

Once you meet the above requirements, an introduction cutscene called "A Need for Noodles" will play before Gladio initiates his cup noodle side quest. As the group walks in Lestallum, Gladio will ask Noctis about his favorite ingredient.

Your answer will determine the ingredient you will need, along with what kind of enemy you need to defeat before acquiring it. Before the side quest begins, talk to a tipster located in the center of Lestallum to find out where your enemy is located.

According to IGN, if you choose meat you will need to go south of the Prairie Outpost in Leide. Head to the quest marker and fight the Behemoth. Make sure both Noctis and Gladio are equipped with your strongest Greatswords and Shields.

Utilize defending and parrying to maximize your chances of counterattacking. Try to target its legs to make the Behemoth fall to the ground so you can deal more damage. Once the Behemoth is defeated, you will receive the Behemoth Round. Camp at the haven near your current location. Choose to cook some cup noodles to finish "The Perfect Cup" side quest.

If you choose egg, you must head to the top of Rock of Ravatogh in Cleigne. Head towards a small path until you reach the giant nest. Press (X) to pick up a Glimmering Zu Egg from the nest, then leave the area by going through the tunnel on the other side. Rest at the haven indicated on your map to complete the side quest.

Choosing shrimp means you will need to head to Cape Caem in Cleigne. Go to the quest marker and defeat the Karlabos, which is weak to Swords, Polearms, and Ice magic. Ignis' skill Enhancement will help you defeat the enemy faster. Once you receive the Karlabos Carapace, camp and cook some noodles to complete the side quest.
