To mark the 30th anniversary of the popular game franchise "Final Fantasy", Square Enix has announced a bevy of 'Final Fantasy 15' related news. One of the biggest news announced during the event is the upcoming release of 'Final Fantasy XV: Episode Gladiolus'.
"FF" video game franchise developer Square Enix hosted an event in Tokyo to commemorate the 30th year of the most popular game title under its banner. During the event, the game developer announced a number of things that "FFXV" fans should look forward to in the coming months.
According to Square Enix's announcement, the "Episode Gladiolus'" DLC will be launched on March 28 for "FFXV". The upcoming DLC will be introducing a new story to the game that will unfold through Gladio's perspective. A familiar "Final Fantasy" character is also set to make an appearance with the Gladio DLC. According to reports, Gilgamesh will be appearing in the "FFXV" world with the upcoming update.
To announce the Gladio DLC, Square Enix has also unveiled three new screen shots of the upcoming DLC. The screen shots can be seen on the "FFXV" official twitter page.
"FF15" fans can also look forward to new booster packs. According to reports a free Booster pack and a Booster pack +, which must be purchased, will be made available to players. The Booster packs will be released on Feb. 21. Another exciting addition to the game is the power ranger inspired Magitek Exosuits that will be introduced with the "Final Fantasy XV" Booster packs.
The Magitex Exosuits is not just for added style. The new suits will make Noctis and the rest of the party invincible for thirty minutes. After the suit's effectiveness expires, players will have to wait for another 24 hours for the suit to recharge. Square Enix also announced a Prompto DLC that will be released in June for "Final Fantasy XV".
