With just a day to go before the end of London's Olympics, tension are high before the gold medal soccer clash between Brazil and Mexico, sure to be a fierce rivalry. Brazil came into the Olympics as the soccer favorite, and commentators expect the team to take gold. If victorious, Brazil looks to win its third gold medal in soccer; a victory in today's match would give Mexico its first soccer gold. Mobilenapps.com has a run-down of where viewers can watch the action:
NBC
NBC provides live streams of Olympic events only to U.S residents. Visit NBC's website and click on the Soccer tab when the word "Live" appears next to the sport. Select events are available to non-U.S. residents on NBC, which may include today's soccer match, but different streams are probably a better option.
BBC
For spectators outside of the U.S. and not in London, the BBC continues to provide unparalleled coverage. The live video player allows viewers to watch any event live, and missed sections of events can be watched by selecting an earlier part of the event.
Non-UK viewers shoul avoid using the BBC iPlayer, which requires a UK television license. For UK viewers, however, it usually stores events for 7 days, so viewers have time to catch up.
Eurosport
Eurosport allows viewers to watch certain events via the Eurosport Player, including today's soccer match.
Eurosport also offers live blogging of events, so users unable to view video have a backup option. Fans can also comment on events live. Websites are available for most major languages, along with the "International" option in English.
Eurosport's live video player requires an updated version of Microsoft Silverlight and registration for a free account on the site.
Brazil vs Mexico kicks off at 10AM EST.
