Microsoft has started rolling out the gaming-focused Windows 10 Insider build which has Game Mode, Beam livestreaming and other features. Unfortunately, it has some game-breaking bugs that could eventually spoil the fun of gaming itself.

According to reports, Build 15019 for the Insider Fast Ring includes a number of more general improvements as well, such as another Edge version that will be reading the owner's eBooks aloud. There is a better out-of-box experience too, which is complete with voice actors to guide the owners throughout the process.

Moreover, owners should note that if they hope to try out the new PC-centric Game mode, they have to be cautious. Microsoft warned that undetermined "popular games" may apparently experience crashes or black screen . Loading and clicking on specific elements in a Win32 game may cause it to be minimized, making it unplayable unless the program is killed.

Though the Game Mode is set as enabled as its default, it will show up as off. Another to be aware of is the Microsoft's issue with its progress bar wherein it still shows "0% completed" though it is, in fact, downloading.

Build 15019 is precisely optimized for gaming which comes with new additions to both the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. With this, here are some of its great new gaming features.

Game Mode

It is a specific mode for the PC which can give the game all of the resources gamers' PC can spare as the said mode can minimize the resources other background tasks have at their disposal. The Windows Game Bar now supports 17 more games in fullscreen mode, which includes "Call of Duty Black Ops 2", "FIFA 17", "Battlefield 3", "FIFA 14", "Rocket League", and more.

Gaming Settings and Beam Livestreaming

Microsoft has combined all gaming controls for Game Bar, GameDVR and more into a Gaming section found in Windows 10's settings. Meanwhile, Microsoft has purchased Beam and its livestreaming technology a year ago for players to be able to take their games played on Windows 10 and Xbox broadcasted to others on the Internet.

Other than that, it also offers a better out-of-box experience wherein Cortana, Microsoft's AI can guide owners through setting up a new PC by asking questions with a much pleasant tone compared to the more robotic text-to-speech voice. Moreover, troubleshooters are all in one place now wherein the complete list includes tools for resolving printer issues, Bluetooth, Windows updates and more.
