While 'For Honor' closed beta has become quite popular for gamers, there are a few known issues that that interrupts gameplay for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Here are fixes for those issues according to VG247.
PS4 and Xbox One Issues
Players of Xbox One from Closed Alpha don't need to redeem the Closed Beta Key. To do this, go to Games & Apps section, select the Closed Alpha Build and re-download if deleted. This will allow the game to auto-update to the Closed Beta build without the need for the Closed Beta Key.
For Xbox One users that cannot log in without changing "share content" privacy setting, go to Xbox Live privacy> Safety account settings, this setting must be set to "everybody."
For random crashes for both PS4 and Xbox One, re-start the game and a crash log will automatically be sent for investigation.
When loading a multiplayer match, players may experience disconnection, just re-enter the matchmaking flow or restart the game.
PC Issues
If Easy AntiCheat displays an error code 10018, close the game, make sure that all game processes have ended by checking the Task Manager, and restart the game.
The game sometimes doesn't fully quit, just go to Task Manager and end the game's processes.
Random crashes should be expected, just restart the game and a crash log will be automatically sent for investigation.
Groups with more the 1 Strict NAT will not be able to reach matchmaking, it is recommended to invite friends with open or moderated NAT types. This also goes with PS4 and Xbox One users.
The game may not launch if BitDefender is enabled. Just disable the BitDefender "Active Threat Control."
Players must remember that this is only a closed beta of the game; therefore a lot of issues should be expected. The developers are working hard to fix these issues for the best gaming experience.
