Many users have settled down with the fact that there will be no more iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool for everyone, especially that Apple has already seeded iOS 10.3 beta 1 a few days ago. However, well-known Italian security researcher Luca Todesco has made Yalu iOS 10.2 jailbreak source code available for download to the wider developers, security as well as jailbreak community.

Todesco and Marco Grassi have released Yalu iOS 10.2 with a working mobilesubstrate, which he first posted the source code then the first beta IPA after a few hours, according to iClarified. It currently supports the iPhone 6s, iPhone SE and the iPad Pro and more devices are likely to be added soon although Todesco has said before that the jailbreak tool is not supporting the iPhone 7.

Todesco has also discussed the expansion of Yalu's capabilities to support 64-bit devices that are running iOS 10 but has also suggested that iOS 10.2 is not officially on his radar, reports say. He tweeted a few days ago that once he releases the iOS 10.2 jailbreak, he will halt all the public iOS research and the beta version that has just been released will allow users to freely apply tweaks and apps on their iDevices running iOS 10.2.

For users who own 32-bit devices, this IPA file doesn't work but only for 64-bit devices and it is worthy to note that it is still in beta, which means that it may contain bugs and may not work accurately. Furthermore, Todesco also added support for Cydia and Cydia Substrate allowing users to get the tweaks and packages installed with a little hassle.

For those who have already upgraded to iOS 10.2.1 that has been released a few days ago and wants to try the jailbreak, they will have to downgrade to the iOS 102 while Apple is still in the stage of signing the firmware. Don't forget to save the SHSH2 blobs for iOS 10.2 as well.
