Well-known hackers such as Stefan Esser and Loca Todesco have both said that they will release a jailbreaking tool soon, which Esser said he will drop a 10.2-based version tool and Todesco will soon be releasing his Yalu jailbreak tool from 10.1.1 to 10.2 version. The question is, are these tools worth the wait?
Team Pangu reportedly conducted a demo on Apple's latest firmware vulnerability and this gives a clue that the team is working on a jailbreaking tool version 10.2.1 fixing the flaws before releasing a stable iOS 10 jailbreak to the public. There is no exact release window yet as the team has been silent about it but iCrackUriDevice has reported a few times that it is still likely to happen.
Many users have been waiting for the iOS 10 jailbreak tool since there are tons of benefits they can get from an unlocked iOS device such as unlimited customization. For example, a user would be able to apply tweaks letting them go beyond what an Apple device can offer, which is something that a stock iOS device can't do.
Most users who don't like the UI of iOS a jailbreak tweak or app can certainly help them, which can virtually change things about the iOS, according to GuidingTech. It would be almost the same way as Android users enjoy their devices to optimization level when using a jailbroken iOS device and an example would be the Cydia Store that replaces the Apple App Store that has almost all contents that users can find in the App Store.
While users are able to level up on UI tweaks or apps, it is all also possible that the overall performance of the device has an impact including its battery life as jailbreaking increases battery consumption especially when the device is in a very active performance. Additionally, users will lose its Apple device support especially when the device is still under Apple warranty not to mention the jailbreak issues such as bugs and instability like Luca Todesco's Yalu iOS 10.1.1 version tool.
