One of the most fun games to be released this generation on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, is Mafia 2 from 2K Czech. From the name, you should be able to tell this game is all about the gangster life old, and despite the game's problems with bugs and other minor issues, gamers enjoyed it a lot. Happily, we've been hearing rumors of Mafia 3 being in development for the Xbox 720 and PS4. No idea if these rumors are legitimate, but if true, the next gen is going to be marvelous.

We understand the game was originally planned for the Xbox 360 and PS3, but development studio has since switched over to next generation consoles back in 2010 and is aiming for a 2013/2014 release date. If 2K Czech is ballsy enough to skip the Xbox 360 and PS3 in favor of next gen consoles, we have to wonder, how many others are moving away from the current devices to kick-start the next gen in fine style.

Announcing Mafia 3 for the Xbox 720 and PS4, could be one of the biggest reasons for gamers to forget the old and accept the new. Good games are the main things that sell consoles and so as long good games like Mafia 3 will on the other side, we'll be going over to play them because we are gamers, and that's what we do.
