Game developer, Ubisoft, has just released the trailer for the upcoming "Velvet Shell" expansion of the game 'Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege'. The new "Operation Velvet Shell" Coastline map was featured in the trailer. Seen in the video is the different parts of the new map particularly the La Perla Blanca Resort.
The "Rainbow Six Siege" update has been teased by Ubisoft to the game's fan base for quite some time along with the changes that it plans to do in the game's second season. The recently unveiled "Velvet Shell" teaser trailer seem to suggest that the game developer is finally ready to unveil the long teased updates.
The trailer released by Ubisoft features the new Coastline map. The Coastline map will be made available for both PVP and PVE. The trailer has already shown a lot of details on what to expect with the new map.
With the "Velvet Shell" expansion, "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" players will be fighting it out in the rock-strewn coastlines of Ibiza, Spain. Players will have to go all out and battle on the La Perla Blanca Resort. Game developer Ubisoft described the new Coastline "Rainbow Six Siege" map as "designed to drive a surround flow of combat". Ubisoft also stated that at the core of the new map is a final rush.
Like previous updates, the "Velvet Shell" update will add two new operators along with the new Coastline map. Also, the new characters and loadouts that will be introduced with the expansion all hail from Spain.
Ubisoft has planned to fully unveil the "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Velvet Shell" update on February during the game's big Six Invitational. The February event will be the biggest event for the "Rainbow Six Siege" to date. The event will reportedly last for three days.
More details about the upcoming "Velvet Shell" expansion will be released on Feb. 5. Ubisoft will reportedly unveil the full demo at about 6 pm UK time.
