“One Punch Man” Season 2 is reportedly already underway. The animated franchise’s first season ended in 2015, and fans have been waiting for its second instalment since then.
Mobipicker has reported that “One Punch Man” Season 2 will be out by mid-2017. Unfortunately, the publication could not specify what date. Regardless of exactly when it will be out this year, the franchise’s second season will reportedly focus on Saitama’s battle with Garou, also referred to as the “Hero Hunt” story arc.
Garou is a former disciple of Bang, and he had once taken out almost all of the students in the dojo just to show off precisely how powerful he is. Due to all of that hubris, Silver Fang was left with no choice but to send Garou out on exile. As expected, Garou has nothing but instant dislike for the “One Punch Man” Season 2 protagonist.
Other news sources have pointed out that Saitama will be facing off with the Monster Association. This group is composed of 17 powerful antagonists, each of whom can attack on a disaster level. That said, it has been reported that Saitama will finally experience his very first defeat.
As it would turn out, the Monster Association - whose main objective is to take down the Hero Association, may have worked hand-in-hand with Garou in order to defeat the “One Punch Man” Season 2 lead cast, Saitama.
Saitama is famous in the “One Punch Man” universe for being the strongest superhero in Z-City. He is the only one who can beat anyone -- or anything, for that matter -- with just a single punch. He eventually misses the thrill of facing an enemy that is a challenge enough for him.
Saitama, along with the other “One Punch Man” heroes, will constantly fight to save the world and keep it from being destroyed by horrible monsters. Because of their heroic efforts, the Hero Association has gained fame and recognition in the disaster-prone world that they all live in.
