Amongst all the innovative features of the Galaxy S3, wireless charging is the one that grabbed consumers' attention the most. Samsung may not be releasing the official charging kit for some time. However, some third-party developers are in the process of releasing wireless charging kits for Samsung Galaxy S3 in the near future.

Zens, a small Europe-based electronic firm, has announced that it will be releasing a wireless charging kit for Samsung Galaxy S3 next month.

Zens' wireless charging kit for Samsung Galaxy S3 includes a charging mat and a replacement battery cover for the device to initiate inductive charging functionality. All a user needs to do is replace the backcover and place the handset on Zens' charging mat to charge the handset. The backcover will come in both white and blue to match Galaxy S3's tone.

The charging kit manufacturer didn't mention the rate at which the phone will charge. Many of the current generation smartphones connect to one amp chargers. To charge the phone wirelessly without increasing the charge time, Zens' charging mat needs to have a one amp output.

Zens' charging kit for Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available sometime in September through various retailers for $85.

According to PhoneArena, Verizon Wireless is also prepping a wireless charging kit for the Galaxy S3. Verizon's inductive charging package includes a new backcover and a charging mat. Citing unnamed sources, folks behind the tech site claimed that the complete package will cost around $90.

With the Korean tech giant keeping mum on the availability of the official wireless charging kit, it looks that Galaxy S3 owners need to adopt third-party solutions to break the bar set by old-school chargers. The Galaxy S3 is also expected to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in the fourth quarter of 2012.
