"Dota 2" recently acquired new set of update from Valve. Aside from the patch, the game developer gave the use interfaces a make-over so there has been major changes in the game.

Big changes to the Hero Control Console interface were immediately noted. This modification allows players see the attributes that are visible all the time. The damages and varying armor values are on display now too.

As posted on "Dota 2" blog site, the new update also improved the HP/Mana or health bar displays. The Hero Control Console also had some layout adjustments in order to adapt a few more changes such as making the bonus values visible by default.

The multi-unit selection part has been modified as well. In a nutshell, these changes were made to help players to see and access most of the attributes easily. Other modifications in "Dota 2" include enhancements to the Hero Control Console and Shop layout.

For the shop interfaces, the most noticeable improvement is that the item grid on view at the rightmost part of the screen. Within the grid, popular items are created and updated according to the top items bought by gamers with 5,000 and up of MMR.

Hotkey support on "Dota 2" has been issued too. The option to switch on the "Learn Ability" mode using a hotkey has been added back. In addition, the recent patch that was issued on Jan. 24 brought fixes for bugs.

A few of the item abbreviations were reported to have failed to populate results in the shop and this was fixed. The glitch with saved selection groups for Beastmaster's summons and Meepo clones has been resolved as well.

Finally, Valve disabled the edge pan while hauling an item. The geographic distance factor in matchmaking was put in order so now it shows different value for each server.Meanwhile, Valve promised to release additional updates for "Dota 2", so players should expect more to come soon.
