About a month ago, a leaked field manual of Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies for Android surfaced, making everyone excited to play the game on Android. As it turns out, the wildly popular app, based on the Zombies version of Treyarch's and Activision's record-setting hit Call of Duty: Black Ops, is indeed coming to Android.

Adapted by Ideaworks Game Studio and distributed by Glu Mobile in partnership with Activision, the game is now available exclusively for 30 days on Sony Xperia devices.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is coming to Sony's Xperia smartphones and Xperia Play-optimized devices, including the Xperia Play with its dedicated gamepad, the Xperia S, and Xperia Ion. The fan-favorite app comes with: Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Call of the Dead: Director's Cut, and Dead Ops Arcade, a 50-level zombie experience providing the ultimate undead challenge. Gamers can either play solo or join a team of four players via Wi-Fi.

"We're thrilled to partner with Glu Mobile and Ideaworks to bring the Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies mobile experience to Android, and we couldn't be more excited to launch first on Sony's critically acclaimed line-up of Xperia devices," said Greg Canessa, Activision Publishing's vice president of Mobile Development.

And what better way to make this introduction that with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies," concurred Tim Harrison, Sony Mobile's Head of Content Marketing and Strategy. "There's nothing else in the world or the underworld like Call of Duty. We can't wait to unleash Zombies to our fans."

Gamers also have the option of enhancing their experience with the in-game CoD Point System, though it is only available in single-player mode. Moreover, there are six tiers of in-app purchasing options, which means that players can unlock additional areas and secure better weapons faster.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is rated "M" (mature) by the ESRB for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, and Strong Language. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies for Android is available via Google Play. It costs $6.99 and is 43MB in size. For tips, tricks, and troubleshooting, check out the Field Manual.
