"Overwatch" is rapidly becoming one of the most admired first-person shooters to date. The game has proven itself to be quite an interactive marvel to those that wish to combat online. However, not everyone has shown their good end of sportsmanship.

According to a recent post by MMO Examiner, a certain player who goes by the name of IDDQD is now being reported for what is known as "smurfing." Smurfing is when a player purposely creates a lower level account to be connected to less-skilled players and dismantling them as pleased.

"Overwatch" servers have been known to pit player skills as they are deemed proper with the matchmaking policy. However, the said user allegedly went on to score higher kill rates by going below his designated level.

The player in question is already a known Twitch and YouTube streamer, and has been labelled to continuously stream without any "violations" until the recent issue. As per recent reports by PCGamesN, the player was not only reported by the newer players, but also those who have been on the game for quite some time now. Most of the players who adhered to the unspoken rules ever since have requested a permaban (permanent ban) on players like IDDQD from the playing field.

The player's actions are not entirely a criminal act, but they surely violate the unspoken rules of the game's matchmaking and the pure intent of clean fun, as players justified. Blizzard holds the key to the banning of the said player. Until an action is announced, the complainants are to stay put and wait. As of this writing, Blizzard has yet to release a statement on the issue.

"Overwatch" is Blizzard Entertainment's first successful first person shooter entry. Despite being massively known for the "Diablo" and "World of Warcraft" titles, "Overwatch" is still considered one of the most popular games that the company released so far.
