Two months ago, Blizzard Entertainment came out with a teaser trailer for the next "Diablo 3" DLC, "Rise of the Necromancer." Slated for official release this 2017, Blizzard has yet to give us a month or day for this next playable class to go live. Thankfully, Diablo 3 developers have already given quite a bit of information regarding this revived class, including character sketches and demo gameplay.

But it looks like there's more to come, as Blizzard has announced their plans for a live Q&A for the Necromancer on January 26th, 5PM PST. According to Diabloii, gamers can submit their questions via a forum post for the Q&A.

Necromancer: What We Know So Far. A lot of details were revealed regarding this new class in the trailer, which you can watch below. The last couple of seconds were dedicated to gameplay, and it looks like they'll be bringing back some tried-and-tested moves from the Diablo 2 Necromancer.

For instance, the Necromancer appears to be casting "Bone Spears" at a certain point in the gameplay, if the long white arrow-like projections are anything to go by. "Corpse Explosion" looks like it'll be making a comeback, too. iTechPost reports that these are somewhat confirmed by a Diablo 3 developer. He says, "the character can now make corpses explode and create weapons using the bones of dead bodies."

Necromancer vs. Witch Doctor: According to Mic, many players believed that Diablo 3's summoner class was the Witch Doctor-a character that can raise zombified dogs and cats. For those who were used to the diversity of the Necromancer's abilities in "Diablo 2" were openly disappointed with the Witch Doctor as a replacement character, saying its skills were severely limited compared to the Necromancer.

Hence, the announcement for the Diablo 3 "Rise of the Necromancer" DLC has been met with a lot of enthusiasm, and expectations have been set high. If you want to find out more, jump in on the Facebook live Q&A next week, Jan 26th 5PM PST.
