Samsung's Music Hub service has finally launched in the U.S. as well, bringing "the first completely integrated, all-in-one mobile music service" to Galaxy S3 handsets. Music Hub allows users to push their music collection to the cloud, stream and purchase new music, or listen to personalized radio stations.

Music Hub is now available for download through the Google Play, as well as the Samsung Hub, for Galaxy S3 models on AT&T and U.S. Cellular. Meanwhile, Samsung noted that support for Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile versions of the handset will be announced later on.

The service is available in two versions - free or premium, each offering slightly different features. With the free version, users can buy tracks and listen to 30-second samples from all four major labels and some independent ones, store purchased music in the cloud, and access their library and the store through a Music Hub web player.

The paid version costs $9.99 per month and offers several features, including: scan-and-match, designed to upload unmatched songs into a 100GB music locker; unlimited streaming of the Music Hub catalog; personalized radio stations, and customized recommendations. In addition, new users will benefit from a 30-day free trial of the Music Hub Premium service.

"We're redefining mobile music by offering a more integrated experience on the handset and lifting the barriers to your music," TJ Kang, Samsung's Senior VP of the media services team, said in the press release. "Our service encompasses all music including your own collection in the cloud, a robust streaming catalog that is seamlessly integrated with a music store, and a personal radio service that caters to all of your music moods and genres," added Kang. "By providing a free album and trial, we hope Galaxy S III owners will experience for themselves a new, intuitive and easy way to discover music."

Samsung Galaxy S3 devices in select European countries have had Music Hub for a while now, since the phone's big launch back in May, and now the service is finally available for the U.S. version as well. It may not sound like an amazingly entertaining experience, but the 30-day free trial of the Premium version allows users to check it out free of charge; so, there's really nothing to lose.
