While loyal fans of "Dragon Ball Super" continue waiting with bated breath for the next saga dubbed, Survival of the Universe to kickoff, episode 75 of the hit Japanese anime series was aired and it turned out to be exactly what earlier reports predicted; light and humorous.

The recently aired episode centered on Goku training with his best friend and his firstborn son. Aside from being comical, "DBS" episode 75 featured a slew of perfectly choreographed action scenes. What really grabbed fan's attention, though, was the new trailer for the looming Universe Survival Arc.

The highly-anticipated Universe Survival Arc kicks off Feb. 5 with a couple of Omni-Kings sending invitations to fighters hailing from various universes and urging them to participate in multiverse tournament. As revealed in an early preview, universes that loose the battle would be wiped out in a flash.

The Universe Survival Arc, as aptly teased in "Dragon Ball Super Episode" 75, would be the ongoing anime series' most epic saga until now. With the involvement of fighters from various DB universes confirmed, the filler episodes in the previous and the current weeks revolved around training.

The last two filler episodes revolved around Gohan, who proved his mettle in episode 75 of "Dragon Ball Super" as he goes toe-to-toe with his father. The latter half of "DBS" episode 75, as well as next week's episode, will focus on Goku and Krillin's preparation for the upcoming tournament, according to Inquisitr.

With so much at stake, the martial arts tournament will be led by the strategy of Destruction Gods such as Beerus. And much to the delight of avid "DBS" fans, they were finally able to catch their first glimpse of all the Gods of destruction.

Toei Animation recently rolled out a jaw-dropping animated preview of the Universal Survival arc. While the first half of the animated preview featured characters such Cabba prepping for the upcoming battle, it's the second half of the footage that has "DBS" fans talking. The second half of the clip showcases the 10 Universes' Gods of Destruction, and most of them looked rather threatening.

One god can be seen with his face covered with thick hair, while another god is seen donning a tall, Egyptian hat. One god can be seen hulking behind his angel attendant and universe's Kai. The footage also gives fans a peek at a wolf-like god. However, fans are reciting praises for a stern pink elephant that can be seen tied to Gowasu, ComicBook reported.

The last of God of Destruction shown in the teaser is quite creepy. He sports a red nose and bushy pigtails giving him an appearance of a rather twisted clown. The mysterious god can be spotted standing next to his angel attendant and Kai with a dark hooded figure loitering in the background.

In addition, creator Akira Toriyama teased existence of other Gods of Destruction last week by sharing images of what looks like a god and angel from a nameless universe. Owing to his short stature and simple features, this god looks more humanoid -- more like a hobbit thanks to his facial hair. Nevertheless, his clothing appears to be Egyptian.

The angel, on the other hand, looks a lot like Whis; however, the newly divulged characters appear to be stricter than the eccentric angel.

"Dragon Ball Super's" story arc starts with the "Universal Survival" saga next month. Stay tuned in here for more "DBS" spoilers, news and updates.
