The patience of loyal "DBS" fans that have been restlessly waiting for the action-packed storyline has finally being rewarded. "Dragon Ball Super" Universal Survival arc centers on Goku and his gang that join forces to participate in a life-or-death martial arts tournament featuring all of the anime's universes.

Thanks to Animedia, a new synopsis for the anime surfaced online shedding more light on the newfangled challenges. Acclaimed DB translator Todd Blankenship (@Herms98) translated the article into English and shared it with "DBS" fans via a tweet.

The translation takes "Dragon Ball" fans back to the "God of Destruction Champa Arc," when the Omni-King proposes a tournament which would comprise an assemblage of the most powerful fighters hailing from throughout the 12 universes. But everyone, except Goku, forgot about this amidst a confrontation with the Universe 10's Zamasu that took place later.

Goku asks the ruler of all the universes, the Omni-King about holding the deadly tournament again. Thus, with episode 77 the series moves in the "Universe Survival Arc." Excited about squaring off against the unknown, Goku will be spearheading the most powerful earthlings.

The Earth will be represented by some of the strongest characters including Goku and his Gohan, Master Roshi, the strongest Earthling Kuririn, Tien, Piccolo, Majin Boo and his long-standing adversary, Vegeta. Aside from that, both Android 17 and Android 18 will come aboard their roster of 10 fighters from Earth.

Moreover, Goku plans to beef up his ki power and stamina by training along with Kuririn. No prizes for guessing, Goku's further evolution would be nothing short of jaw-dropping.

The summary sheds more light on some crucial details about the tournament. First off, Goku is the leader of the event as he evoked Zen-Oh about the tournament. Furthermore, Krilllin is slated to make a comeback with the "Universal Survival." Also, he and Goku will be training together like they did in the past, meaning, "DBS" fans should prep themselves for that nostalgic bomb, ComicBook reported.

"Dragon Ball Super" airs on Crunchyroll every Saturday at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami is slated to start airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET.
