Got 150k you want to get rid of right this very moment? Well, you're lucky because we have got just the thing for you. Some dude on eBay is offering a Legend of Zelda cartridge for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), for a cool $150,000. By now, you must have already realized this is no ordinary cartridge, not by a long shot.
The cartridge is coming a long way back from 1987, half year before the game was released in the United States. What makes this version of Legend of Zelda so special, and so expensive, is the fact that it is a prototype copy of the game, and the color is yellow. For those few who are interested, the game still plays according to the seller. However, he doesn't know if there are any differences in the game when compared to the final version that gamers have been playing for the last 25 years.
We fail to see any incentive in buying a plastic cartridge for $150,000, but for those with the collector in them, go for it, we're not going to stop you, after all, it's your money. The eBay seller, who has this time vampire up for sale, could make some decent cash from this, but we doubt it will be $150,000. It will be considerably less, unless a certain buyer has been off his meds.
Anyone here interested in picking up a 25 year relic for $150,000? Share your thoughts.
