Renowned Harry Potter author J.K Rowling has just put an end to hopes of all Potterheads to see a "Cursed Child" film much more a trilogy in movie theaters soon. There have been a lot of rumors that a film adaptation of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is being developed and that it will reunite the three main stars in the original "Harry Potter" movies, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

According to some reports, the three biggest stars of the "Harry Potter" franchise will be reprising their roles in a film adaptation of the popular West end stage play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child". J.K Rowling has just posted a tweet that sent tons of rumblings in the Potterverse, according to the author, there is no truth about the rumored "Cursed Child" film trilogy.

The twitter post of Rowling disappointed the million Potterheads that have been anticipating another "Harry Potter" movie. It can be remembered that speculations about the film adaptation of the "Cursed Child" sprouted days after the stage play officially premiered on July 30, 2016. However, Warner Bros was quick to deny the veracity of these reports.

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" has been received as the eight book int the "HP" novel series. The story of the "Cursed Child" revolves around the exploits of young Albus Potter, the second child of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley. In the timeline of Potterverse, the "Cursed Child" takes place 19 years after "The Deathly Hollows".

Though the current rumors have been shutdown by no other than "Harry Potter" author J.K Rowling herself, the possibility of having a film adaptation of "The Cursed Child" is not a forgone conclusion. Especially since if the idea is for the original cast members to reprise their roles, it will still take years for them to reach the right age for "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child".
