Cheats are still common in gaming and using these cheat codes have been tacked in games ever since these franchises existed. Fortunately, "Sims 4" has never changed where cheats still exist and with the help of some gaming enthusiasts, the best cheat codes for the game are now in for players to use these in the most recent iteration of the game.

To get started, a player needs a cheat bar allowing them to type in all types of commands - on Mac and PC, hold Ctrl + Shift + C and a little white bar will pop up on top of the screen as per IGN. Type testingcheats on then hit Enter to enable using a number of other cheat codes and to disable it, type testingcheats off.

Once the "Sims 4" cheats are enabled, players can use various different shortcuts to help them modify a Sim's needs in the game and as an example, according to Carl's Sims 4 Guide, holding Shift and clicking several objects brings up useful sub-menus. Furthermore, the commands motherlode will grant 50,000 Simoleons, money x to automatically have more money (just replace x with any value), sims.remove_all_buffs removes positive and negative moodlets, careers.promote x - replace X with the Sim's current career like astronaut, socialmedia, etc to promote them). Additionally, bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement can unlock items in build mode, freerealestate [on/off] - type freerealestate on will make all real estate in the neighborhood completely free and type freerealestate off to disable it.

As for the command sims.add_buff buff_mortified, it can cause a Sim to die of embarrassment within five hours. Now this one is cute!
