True-blue Pokemon fans, brace yourselves! Despite previous reports hinting at a Jan. 2017 launch for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Bank update, multiple sources are now claiming that the highly anticipated update will not arrive for at least a couple of weeks.
It's no secret that regular updates play a vital role in ensuring players stay glued to the game. Thus, it is imperative for The Pokemon Company to roll out the long-promised bank update within the originally professed release window.
The upcoming "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Bank update is expected to facilitate transfers and allow players to store pocket monsters on Nintendo servers via the Pokemon Bank cloud service. Much to the delight of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players, they can trade the aforesaid pocket monsters to any Pokemon game playable on Nintendo 3DS, according to Tech.Mic.
In other words, the eShop edition of "Pokemon X and Y," "Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire," and "Red, Blue and Yellow" will be able to take advantage of the Bank. With the Pokemon Sun and Moon" Special Battle Season 2 kicking off Jan. 17 and running up to March 19, the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Bank update might arrive in near future, contrary to multiple reports hinting at a delayed release.
Meanwhile, the guidelines for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Special Battle Season 2 have been laid and interestingly, quite a few changes have been put into effect. The Pokemon comprise Magearna, Necrozma, Lunala, Solgaleo, Cosmoem, Cosmog, Volcanion, Hoopa, Diancie, Zygarde, Yveltal, Xerneas and Genesect. The list includes Meloetta, Keldeo, Kyurem, Zekrom, Reshiram, Victini, Arceus, Shaymin, Darkrai, Manaphy, Phione, Giratina, Palkia, Dialga, Deoxys, Jirachi, Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre, Celebi, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Mew and last but definitely not the least, Mewtwo.
