Aside from the various non player characters, Noctis can also accept side quests from Prompto, the group's resident photography enthusiast. As you drive along Eos, Prompto will sometimes ask Noctis if you can stop and take some scenic photos. Keep in mind that you must always say "yes" to Prompto, and that all photos must be taken in daylight.

According to IGN, the side quest "Photo Op: Mountain" can be done in Chapter 3. The side quest is in Leide, and will reward players with 200 EXP. Simply drive by the east side of Longwythe Peak. Prompto will ask Noctis if they can stop to take a photo of the weird-looking mountain. Say yes, and everyone will get out of the Regalia to pose for Prompto.

For "Photo Op: Quarry," your reward is also 200 EXP. You must be in Chapter 4, and as the gang drives near the Balouve Mines in The Callaegh Steps region of Leide, Prompto might ask to take a picture.

In "Photo Op: Quay," players must be in Chapter 4. The reward is 200 EXP. As you drive up the main road from Galdin Quay, there is a chance that Prompto will ask to take another group photo.

Players must be in Chapter 9 for "Photo Op: Battlefield," which also has a 200 EXP reward. As you drive up to the Caravan near the Keycatrich Ruins, Prompto might ask Noctis to stop for a photo.

Gamer Guides has revealed that to trigger the "Photo Op: Disc," just drive southwest from the Cauthess Station - Alstor in Duscae. Passing by the Alstor Slough Parking Spot will trigger the side quest.

"Photo Op: Ranch" in Chapter 6 has a 250 EXP reward. Drive by the Wiz Chocobo Post to trigger it.

For "Photo Op: Lestallum," you must be in Chapter 3. Your reward is 250 EXP. Drive by Kelbass Grasslands, or the west road on the left side of the words "Kelbass Grasslands" in the in-game map.

In "Photo Op: Crag," you must be in Chapter 8. For the 250 EXP reward, drive on the road north and west of Saxham Outpost.

For "Photo Op: Volcano," players can receive 300 EXP. Driving near the Ravatoghan Outpost in Cleigne will trigger Prompto's side quest.

In "Photo Op: Beacon," as long as you are in Chapter 8 you can receive 300 EXP. At the Cape Caem lighthouse, Prompto might ask for a picture of his friends as you go up the main path to the lighthouse.

In Chapter 7, you can trigger "Photo Op: Lakefront." Rewards are 300 EXP, and you can start the quest by driving by the road near the Vesperpool.

For "Photo Op: Waterfall," you must drive by Callatein's Plunge. Go down to the waterfall for the photo and 300 EXP.

In Chapter 8, you can trigger "Photo Op: Mascot" while driving through Old Lestallum. Take a photo by the Crow's Nest mascot for 300 EXP.

In Chapter 9, you can trigger the "Photo Op: Palace" in Altissia. Pass by the teal gondola route and take the photo for 400 EXP.

For "Photo Op: Park," walk by the park with the large narwhal sculpture by the fountain. This area is north of where you first start off in Altissia. The quest reward is 400 EXP.

Take a gondola to the Altissia Docks for "Photo Op: Dock." The quest reward is also 400 EXP. For "Photo Op: Bar," go to the Maagho bar. However, this quest will only trigger in daytime. The reward is also 400 EXP.
