Sapphire has officially premiered the first ever Radeon RX 460 Nitro graphics card with an unlocked Polaris core. Here are the details on the Radeon RX 460 Nitro graphics card's specifications, features and possible price.
Sapphire has officially released the very first Radeon RX 460 Nitro variant that features a full core. A full Polaris 11 GPU features more stream processors and ships with a higher clock rate since this is a factory-overclocked variant.
RX 460 Nitro Specifications
The RX 460 Nitro is the only graphics accessory based on Polaris 11 GPU architecture available to desktop users. The latest variant includes 1024 stream processors, which deliver approximately 2.4 TFLOPs of FP32 computing performance.
The Radeon RX 460 Nitro has the chip clocked at a factory-overclocked frequency of 1250 MHz while the 4 GB GDDR5 memory comes with a 128-bit interface and clock speeds of 7 GHz that deliver 112 GB/s bandwidth. Since RX 460 Nitro OC features the same GCN 4.0 graphics architecture, we will be getting up to 2.8x performance per watt.
Features
The Radeon RX 460 Nitro has a dual fan cooler with the new NITRO Cool Tech. It programmed the fans to start precisely at 52 degrees Celsius, to smartly balance performance against fan noise. FinFET 14 nm technology empowers the Radeon RX 460 Nitro graphics card to operate efficiently with minimal power consumption, staying cool and quiet. Great performance per watt results were attained because of various custom enhancements applied on top a tiny Polaris chip.
Radeon RX 460 Nitro will put an end to screen tearing and enjoy fluid, artifact-free gaming through AMD FreeSync, which seamlessly matches your monitor's refresh rate with your Radeon RX 460 Nitro's framerate. Additionally, it comes with a Display Port of 1.3 / 1.4 HDR capabilities, and 16,000-hour high-polymer, aluminum capacitors.
Possible Price for the RX 460 Nitro
Sapphire has not yet released official notice about Radeon RX 460 Nitro pricing. However, Wccftech predicts it to sell around $119 US.
