Mac Walters, the creative director for "Mass Effect: Andromeda," gave his thoughts about the game in an interview with the official Xbox Magazine. During the interview, Walters spoke about the possibility of having it in the brand's upcoming console Project Scorpio.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2017, while Project Scorpio is expected to be out later this year. In the interview, Mac Walters was asked if the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" could expect a similar level of support for the Xbox Project Scorpio as the PlayStation 4 Pro enhancement.

"Given our March 2017 release date for Mass Effect: Andromeda, I am not sure exactly what we were going to be able to support at that time, but we have a strong service plan for the game that will continue past our release date," he said.

He also added, "if Bioware will do a Game of the Year edition of Mass Effect; Andromeda, or a future edition or something like that, that is something we'd definitely consider looking at, for sure."

Gamesradar previously said that Bioware producer Michael Gamble admitted that, for now, they have no plans for a "Mass Effect: Andromeda" Xbox Project Scorpio version. "For Xbox Scorpio, we have absolutely no plans right now," he was quoted saying.

However, Gamble did not entirely close off on the chance of having a "Mass Effect: Andromeda" for Scorpio version. Fans also asking for a Nintendo Switch version, but Gamble said the company also has no plans for this console version.
