If you are happy about Nokia reducing its flagship model price to just $49 on AT&T, then this bit of news may come as a surprise. The Lumia 900 4G is now selling on a same contract for just $19 at selected retailers, or at least one of them.
Amazon Wireless is selling Nokia Lumia 900 4G in all three colors - Black, Cyan, and White - on a two-year contract with AT&T for just $19. It is unknown whether these prices are for a limited time only (like a promotional offer) or permanent, but it is the right time to grab the Lumia 900 in case you are looking for the best Windows smartphone.
In case you are not able to decide whether this smartphone is worth buying or not, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the Lumia 900 has received the most positive reviews among all Windows Phones.
The Lumia 900 sports a 4.3-inch AMOLED display with Nokia's ClearBlack technology and a resolution of 480 X 800 pixels. At 11.5mm thickness, the Lumia 900 isn't one of those slim and light devices, but with a polycarbonate unibody design it gives a premium feel in hands. Also, the Gorilla Glass on the top of the screen is rugged enough to withstand heavy torture.
The smartphone comes loaded with a single-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor, accompanied by 512MB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage in the silicon package. The Lumia 900 has 8-megapixel Carl Zeiss optical sensor with dual LED flash support at the back. The camera shoots images with a resolution of 3264 X 2448 pixels at max and records videos at 720p HD resolution. Additionally, 1.3-megapixel chat cam faces Lumia 900 users.
Nokia Lumia 900 ships with Windows Phone OS 7.5 Mango on board. Unfortunately, the device is not getting a Windows Phone 8 update, which is apparently the reason behind the price drop. However, even with WP7 OS, it is no less than a beast.
